Joree is from California and has a journalism degree. Retired now Joree loves Poetry, Reading and movies. Her first book of Poetry titled "Poetic Thoughts" is now in print through Soul Asylum Poetry and Publishing. We are very lucky to have Joree with us here at the Asylum, her vast knowledge of poetry styles and wonderful teaching skills has helped to enhance our site. Joree has set up and teaches several of the classes in our workshops. Joree's poetry is seamless. elegant, smooth and down to earth, filled with beautiful insight, love and splashes of humor. You'll soon be left smiling!
