"Nefarious was formed by guitarists Ryan Bevis and Tommy Tamone in 2001. After writing a few songs for fun, they realized they not only had great chemistry as a guitar tandem, but they also could write quite well. It was then that bassist Kyle Woodard joined, and the three childhood friends began searching for musicians to complete their new band.

After going through multiple line-up changes, we've come to the band in its current form. Bevis and Tamone have been joined by the returning Kyle to bass after a 9 month hiatus, singer Evan McGarrity, synth guitar player (and former bassist) Dan Webb, and drummer Brad Doudna. Heavily influenced by all genres of metal, from power metal to black metal, Nefarious continue to tread new sonic ground with their unique brand of music. It's fast! It's heavy! It's melodic! It's progressive! It's Nefarious!"
