ON APRIL 17th 2009, Paul had his first solo concert in his home town of Philadelphia, Penna. in nine years.Elite musicians from the area joined Paul on stage for the final number, a tribute to his late partner Jamison Smoothdog the uncredited writer of CAN'T YOU SEE the Marshall Tucker band hit.. The show was an overwhelming success.Topping all off is Paul's unique songwriting talent, which has made him popular as a solo act. His lyrics are gritty, street wise and from the heart and come from his experience in life. "I lived in Penthouses and slept in subways" He ran away from home at age 14 after finding out he was adopted and lied to, his whole childhood. 'I met some wonderful influences in NYC that let me crash at their apartments. The biggest influence was the Late Phil Ochs and the same wit, and style can be heard in Paul's lyrics. Ken Cowle once said " he has the writing ability of a Dylan and the Stage presence of Bruce!"

In June of 2009 Paul and Dave Alexander teamed up to tour as separate solo artists. They played 37 cities in a month and a half! From Rochester N.Y. to NYC all the way down to Sarasota Fla. It was a huge success. Dave is now signed with Double K records too.

Paul started playing music, piano at age 5 and was a child prodigy give concerts ant Philadelphia's well known Curtis Institute of Music. At age 11 he picked up the guitar and bass guitar and has been playing both ever since. He is an alumni member of the famous Philadelphia Rock Club J.C. Dobbs, spawned such talent as George Thorogood, The Stray Cats, Robert Hazzard, and too many others to really mention. He has played clubs and shows from Toronto Ca. to Cleveland Ohio, and throughout the South.Today his work is "up from the streets" singer songwriter material, and his shows have been met by extremely enthusiastic crowds.

The songs are both beautiful and thought provoking, he writes what you feel but never would express!

His long awaited first CD for Double K Records TIME TO MOVE ON is finished and having the artwork and packaging done. This is very exciting and make sure you pick up a copy you will want to listen over and over.

Paul was also the first artist signed by Double k records, and is currently working on a new tour to promote TIME TO MOVE ON don't miss his solo shows one reviewer wrote, there is a band brewing in there sometime soon.
